Tayven, mommy is sorry for neglecting this blog.
I will do my best to update this more often. You have grown so much and so many things have changed since I last posted here.
We moved back to Hawaii from Utah and are living with Mama and Papa in Ewa Beach. Mommy is pregnant with your first little sister who should be coming out anytime now.
You are in the first grade and doing so well!
Here is what was stated about you on your most recent report card:
"Tayven exceeded the goal for the 25 Books Campaign with 52 fiction and 15 non fiction. He averaged 100% on his spelling tests and recognizes more than 240 sight words. He is reading level L, which is an end of second grade level. He continues to make good progress on his writing, becoming quite creative and has a wonderful command of words. I am impressed with his growth as a writer! In math, he did well but had some difficulty with number stories that involved the addition of 3 numbers. Overall, he has been a good student."
I couldn't be more proud of you, Tay.
You also started playing flag football this past Saturday. You were a little nervous at first, but you really enjoyed it! You are the biggest and tallest on the team! You liked practicing the drills. Your first game is in two weeks and mommy and daddy can't wait to watch you play. I loved seeing Daddy watch you practice.
Keep being you, son! I love you!

The things that come out of your mouth!
Tayven, you are a classic child. You are very bright and mature for your age. You have the greatest memory and are constantly saying the craziest, silliest, and funniest things. I've decided to start typing them up so you can read the when you're older.
Here is a conversation we had today:
You: Mom, you know how we get bacon?
Me: How?
You: First they kill the pig. Then they get the fat out and that's how we get bacon. Sad yeah?
Me: How do you know that?
You: I looked it up online.
Me: What? No you didn't! How did you look it up online?
You: I typed in www dot pig dot com slash kill them
Me: hahahaha Tayven you are seriously too much!

Halloween Party today!
Dear Tayven,
Today at preschool, you had a Halloween party. You said that you guys had candy as snack, played games, and did arts and crafts. You brought home some your projects which were a skeleton head necklace, a pumpkin necklace, and a book mark with bats and skulls on it. Last Monday, you had a field trip. You went to a pumpkin patch, went through a maze, had snacks at a park, and brought home a cute medium-sized pumpkin.
You LOVE school. You are a very smart boy and are growing up so fast.
Mommy and Daddy loves you!
